One month after Shizo Abe's death, it looks interesting to come back and have a view on its legacy, at least form a profit perspectives.
Shinzo Abe has been elected Prime Minister on December 2012, nearly 10 years ago. Although more volatile, total profit (as measured by the biggest 500 companies) have been stronger in Japan tha in USA during this period. Japan is not a dull economy as often perceived by foreigners.
In addition, valuation are still very attractive in Japan compared to the US market, which although cheaper than few months ago, is still more expensive (from a pure PER view) than in 2012 :
